Itineraries

Viking's destination-intensive itineraries give passengers maximized sightseeing opportunities. In Europe, cruises sail on some of its most scenic waterways, including the Rhine, which flows through Switzerland, France, Germany and Holland; the Main and Danube Rivers, crossing through Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. Other itineraries feature trips on the Elbe in eastern Germany and the Czech Republic; the Rhone, Saone and Seine Rivers in France; the Neva and Volga in Russia; and the Dnieper in the Ukraine.

In China, Viking offers a fully English escorted cruise-land tours; one that combine land and river components, featuring places such as Beijing, the Terra Cotta Warriors, and Shanghai plus the Yangtze River sailing. Here you will travel to the Three Gorges, Lesser Gorges, and Three Gorges Dam. Onboard meals cover Chinese delicacies (designed by Martin Yan) and Western cuisine.
