The old Irrawddy Flotilla Company, originally founded in 1865, had the largest privately owned fleet of ships in the world by the 1920’s. It was revived in 1995 when its Pandaw, an old-style steam ship, was acquired and restored as a colonial river vehicle. Pandaw Cruises now have 5 beautiful crafted ships which are all first-hand. Each ship, hand finished in brass and teak wood dιcor traditional craftsmen and has shallow drafts that enable travel to remote areas. They are mainly located in Indochina, sailing through Vietnam, Borneo, Bhurma and Cambodia.
